Universal Acrylic Urethane Klear is a coast-2-coast compliant clear, designed to provide optimum flow and leveling in an easy 2:1 mix. UC21 features high gloss and has good chemical, fuel, and water resistance. It may be used to topcoat any House of Kolor basecoats and urethane enamel finishes, including any Shimrin or Shimrin2 basecoat finish. Mix ratio is 2:1 with UA22, UA23, or UA24 catalyst. Pot life is 1 hour at 75°F (shop conditions can vary pot life). It comes in a 1 gallon can.

This is a coast-to-coast compliant clearcoat and can be mixed for use nationwide. It may be used to topcoat any urethane enamel finish, including all House of Kolor basecoats. UC35 features high gloss and has good chemical, fuel, and water resistance. It’s a 3.5 VOC, National Rule and SCAQMD Rule 1151 compliant version of UC-1, and may be used to topcoat any urethane or polyurethane enamels, and any Shimrin Base Coat color. It’s the preferred clear for motorcycles due to its high acrylic content, enabling faster cure time and better resistance to fuel spills. It’s mixed at a 2:1:1 ratio with KU150 Katalyst and RU311 Reducer. It’s medium solids, 30% solids as applied, with a pot life of approximately 2 hours at 70°F. For extra flow out, up to 10% of RU300 VOC Exempt Reducer can be added.

This premium clearcoat is easy to apply with optimum flow and leveling for exceptional gloss, matching House of Kolor’s best klear with no long recoat window. It’s one of their highest solids clears for burying graphics, with high durability and scratch resistance, yet easy to buff — ideal for motorcycle gas tank and helmet applications. It offers the UV protection expected from HOK, and can be used with any HOK reducer for national rule or coast-to-coast low VOC compliance. The mix ratio is 4:1:1 with UC22.G01 klear, KU122.Q01 hardener, and RU300 series reducers. With state-of-the-art technology, there’s no need for a flex additive for flexible substrates like modern bumpers, and it’s coast-to-coast VOC compliant.
