This is a coast-to-coast compliant clearcoat and can be mixed for use nationwide. It may be used to topcoat any urethane enamel finish, including all House of Kolor basecoats. UC35 features high gloss and has good chemical, fuel, and water resistance. It’s a 3.5 VOC, National Rule and SCAQMD Rule 1151 compliant version of UC-1, and may be used to topcoat any urethane or polyurethane enamels, and any Shimrin Base Coat color. It’s the preferred clear for motorcycles due to its high acrylic content, enabling faster cure time and better resistance to fuel spills. It’s mixed at a 2:1:1 ratio with KU150 Katalyst and RU311 Reducer. It’s medium solids, 30% solids as applied, with a pot life of approximately 2 hours at 70°F. For extra flow out, up to 10% of RU300 VOC Exempt Reducer can be added.
