These specially developed pearl concentrates are available in dry form. They can be added to any House of Kolor urethane enamels, Intercoat Clear, Intercoat Pearl, or Flake Karrier, and may also be added to first coats of Kandys when shooting over solid color bases. Pearl Concentrates may be added to any of the Kustom or Kosmic Clears, including SG100 Intercoat Clear and SG150 Intercoat Pearl & Flake Karrier — used over Shimrin Universal Bases only. The color of the base will determine how much pearl to use. Dry pearls can also be added to the MB00 Neutral Marblizer for custom marbleizing effects.

This is the Wild Cherry colorway in the same Kandy Koncentrate line — specially designed solely for intensifying color. It’s a color boost added to the Kandy range, speeding up the spray process by tinting bases and sealers, and strengthening Kandys for faster coverage on chassis, undercarriage, door jambs, engine bays, and more. It’s used to enrich any Kosmic Kolor Urethane Enamel Kandy or Kustom Kolor Acrylic Lacquer Kandy, reducing the number of coats required to color match an exterior finish, and works great for motorcycles, small parts, and airbrushing. Note: KK03 has a tendency to bleed — a catalyzed clear coat won’t stop color bleed/leaching, though multiple applications of clear (2 or more with proper flash time) can help reduce it; individual testing is recommended. Kandy Koncentrates must be intermixed with other House of Kolor products and cannot be applied as packaged.

Easy to use with a low film build, this basecoat is suitable for street riders and is extremely touch-up friendly. Kandy Base Coats are a mixture of Kandy and select Pearls into a Shimrin Universal Base Coat that mimics a Kandy finish, featuring low build, fewer coats, and easier application and touch-ups than ever. Due to their unique chemical make-up, they may be topcoated with either an acrylic lacquer or urethane enamel; once a system is chosen, use only products within that system. This is a universal basecoat that may be simply cleared for a final finish, or used as a basecoat with other Kandys or Pearls in the HOK range. Mix ratio is 2:1 with RU310, RU311, or RU312 reducer.

Kosmic Kolor Kandy provides fantastic gloss and depth, is crack resistant, and can be applied over any Shimrin Universal Base Coat, Kustom Base, or Kustom Pearl — use only Kosmic Reducers, and don’t mix with other brands, since many have proven incompatible.
