It’s also applied over artwork to preserve blending and fogging of various colors before applying Kandy or clear topcoats, serving as a safety layer that lets you pause and continue your project later. It’s not a buildup clear or a topcoat clear — coats are limited to 4, though more are acceptable if used as a carrier for basecoat Kandies, pearls, or flakes. It’s also used to reduce the strength of basecoats for blending colors or checking touch-ups before topcoat clears are applied, and is considered a must over Marblizer before Kandy or clear to guarantee adhesion.
