This is the Apple Red colorway in the same Shimrin Kandy Basecoat line — a specially developed basecoat that mimics the ever popular Kandy finish. Easy to use with a low film build, this basecoat is suitable for street riders and is extremely touch-up friendly. Kandy Base Coats are a mixture of Kandy and select Pearls into a Shimrin Universal Base Coat that mimics a Kandy finish, featuring low build, fewer coats, and easier application and touch-ups than ever. The “C2C” designation means it’s Coast-2-Coast compliant, meeting all low VOC regulatory limits, in a solvent-based system, for use in all states including California. Due to its unique chemical make-up, it may be topcoated with either an acrylic lacquer or urethane enamel; once a system is chosen, use only products within that system. Mix ratio is 2:1 with RU310, RU311, or RU312 reducer.
